After watching a late-night alien horror-movie, Paddington is convinced that anything that looks like an alien and co is an alien and co.
Summary[]
Paddington says that one of the best things traveling with Mr. Gruber is staying at hotels and watching television in bed. He is watching a black-and-white sci-fi film. He tells Mr. Gruber what happened and Gruber says that it was just a movie, and aliens are usually just stories. At the restaurant they are at, Paddington sees a flying saucer pass by in bushes, when in reality it is a food pan.
Paddington looks around to find other flying saucers, when he sees two people that look like aliens in the park. Paddington tells this to Mr. Gruber and he has a look, but Gruber doesn't see anything. They then hide behind a bush in the hotel. Paddington sees the two aliens come out of the elevator, but he doesn't see them in time as his glasses get knocked off his face. Mr. Gruber tries explaining about aliens in front of the elevator door, when it opens and he actually sees the aliens Paddington was talking about. It closes on them and Paddington fears that they are abducted.
As it turns out, Mr. Gruber learns that the aliens are really people in costume for a convention. Paddington hurries along up the stairs to follow a space pod on wheels. Paddington dresses up as a room service maid and runs off to steal the egg pod. He runs into the sci-fi convention and tries shooting at two people in hazmat suits, and they accidentally trigger a spaceship display. The space pod opens and the costumes come flying out. As Mr. Gruber comes, Paddington learns that it is nothing more than a space convention.
