Paddington Prepares is the fiftieth episode of the Paddington Bear series.
Synopsis[]
Before Paddington can go with Mr. Gruber's on a world trip he is thought to be suspicious at the airport until he finds his passport.

r. Gruber polishes Paddington's suitcase up, as it had been scratched after plenty of their adventures. Mr. Gruber then recalls the first ever trip they took together, for the opening chapter of his book to France. Mr. Gruber prepares for the trip, checking everything they have before they go. Paddington gives him the map and a book of France, and believes he would be a good bear to travel with. Gruber calls Mrs. Brown and Paddington soon prepares for the trip in his room, making a mess with maps and books when Mrs. Bird comes up. Soon Mr. Gruber and Paddington arrive at the airport. Gruber reminds him to take important notes on their trip. Paddington sees his suitcase put on the conveyor belt, so he hops along with it. A stewardess hears a person traveling without a passport, which of course would be Paddington. Everyone sees Paddington outside messing around with the landing paddles, claiming that he was practicing his "table tennis shots". Paddington is brought in and he tells the stewards about himself and how he was a stowaway from Peru. He is brought in for further investigation and his suitcase is checked out. They notice how it looks bigger on the outside, and that's because it has a secret compartment. The Browns start worrying, when Paddington comes out with a passport he had all along with Aunt Lucy. All throughout their plenty of journeys, Mr. Gruber says that with a bear, anything can happen.
