Aunt Lucy is Paddington and Paris's aunt, Vince's sister and Pastuzo's wife. She adopted her nephew after his parents died. When Pastuzo died in an earthquake she later sent him off to London while she resided in the Home for Retired Bears in Darkest Peru. Paddington often writes to her about his new family in London.
In Paddington 2, at the end, she comes to London to visit Paddington Brown.

Meeting Montgomery Clyde[]
In the prologue of Paddington, an explorer named Montgomery Clyde comes to Darkest Peru on a journey of discovery. The male bear (later to be known as Pastuzo) saves Clyde's life when he lifts a scorpion off Clyde's jacket and flings it into the undergrowth. The male bear then shows Clyde his home, which he shares with a female bear. After going through Clyde's belongings (and damaging quite a few of them), the female bear tries to mimic Clyde by speaking in English. Clyde responds with astonishment, then encourages both bears to speak in English, teaching them. He names the bears, the female one after his mother Lucy, and the male one after an exotic boxer that Clyde once met in a bar: Pastuzo. He eventually leaves Peru, but leaves behind recordings of English, a record player and his red hat.
Saving Paddington[]
In Paddington 2, a flashback reveals how Paddington came to live with Lucy and Pastuzo. One afternoon, as Aunt Lucy is comfortably sitting on a bridge with Uncle Pastuzo, she sees a bear cub in a river, about to reach a waterfall. Quickly, the couple saves him. During this process her husband Pastuzo loses his red hat, only to have it rescued by his future nephew, who then eats the marmalade sandwich inside.
Darkest Peru[]
At the beginning of Paddington, Paddington lives with Lucy and Pastuzo, who adopt him as their nephew. They live in a treehouse in the forests of Darkest Peru. They regularly listen to the recordings that Clyde left them, as they hope to visit London someday. On the night of Marmalade Day one year, an earthquake destroys the forest and results in the death of Pastuzo. Their home destroyed, Paddington and his Aunt Lucy leave the forest. Aunt Lucy puts Paddington on a lifeboat that is on a ship heading to London. However, she believes she is too old for travel, and tells Paddington that she is going to the Home for Retired Bears in Lima, Peru. She also told Paddington that the British had a European War known as World War 2 (1939-1945) where a lot of British Children were evacuated from London to the British Countryside from being bombed by the German Wehrmacht of Nazi Germany .
Dreams[]
Paddington's Dream
During the second film, Paddington has several daydreams that include Aunt Lucy.
One of Paddington's daydreams occurs in Mr. Gruber's Antiques while he is holding the pop-up book that he wants to give his aunt for her one hundredth birthday. Paddington guides Aunt Lucy through a pop-up world depicting twelve London landmarks and at the end of their journey they share an emotional hug.
The second of Paddington's daydreams occurs in prison, after the Browns miss Visiting Day. He imagines that he is back in Darkest Peru and he sees Lucy through the trees. He runs in her direction and flings himself into her arms, but they only get seconds together before she and the plants disappear, and he is looking once more at the stone walls of his jail cell.
London[]
Paddington wakes up after a three day fever-induced sleep at the end of Paddington 2. He realises that Aunt Lucy's birthday has come and in the chaos, he never sent her anything. However, the Browns reassure him and take him downstairs, where all the neighbours of Windsor Gardens (except Mr. Curry) show their gratitude towards Paddington for all the ways he has brightened their lives. They tell him that they worked together to give Aunt Lucy a present that was even better than the pop-up book. Paddington expresses confusion and Mary asks for clarification that the pop-up book was so Aunt Lucy could see London. Paddington confirms and Mary asks "why look at London in a book, when she could see the real thing?". The doorbell rings and Paddington answers it. It is Aunt Lucy, and he throws himself into her arms and wishes her a happy birthday.

- Making Marmalade: Aunt Lucy's marmalade is even better than Montgomery Clyde's, and in Darkest Peru she stirs and adds other ingredients while Paddington and Pastuzo gather oranges.
- Hard Stare: Paddington mentions that the "hard stares" are a technique his Aunt Lucy taught him if someone forgot their manners.
